A few days ago, Public Relations Officer for AMG Services, Joseph Carter, issued a statement in which he said, “We have long been aware of our environmental crises – food shortages, water shortages and the effects of climate change. AMG Services is dedicated to ensuring that we improve these situations but we also want to help people learn to make the best of the world we live in today.”

Carter continued, cautioning growers that the earth we use will provide better yields if we care for it and respect nature. These permaculture classes will help gardening aficionados learn to use observation of nature and mimic designs in nature to grow healthier plants and food. One of the main principles in permaculture is observing ecosystems and designing similar environments where the elements are in sync and produce the best results. The no-waste system, heavily relied on in permaculture, will be an important element of the course when targeting consumerism around the world. “We want people to reuse, recycle, find ways of using things in conjunction with nature so that the things we buy don’t negatively affect our environment,” said the Public Relations Officer.

Classes will include tutorials on how best to design individual spaces and plots, recognize and embrace changes in the seasons, and integrate a variety of plants so as to create the balance that is the basis of permaculture. Sessions will also incorporate practicals and hands-on experience by experts in the field of permaculture so that participants will leave knowing exactly how to put in place what they have learned. . Based on the feedback received, classes are expected to move across the country in an attempt to educate as many people as possible. AMG Services promises that further information will be made available to the public as soon as the details are finalized.

Permaculture is great for small spaces and can also be used in profitable ventures on larger scales; and, as a sustainable form of agriculture, environmentalists are welcoming it with open arms. This generous move is just another by AMG Services in keeping with their mandate to encourage sustainable development.
