Top Party Bands to Perform at Station Park -

The annual “Rock the Park” summer concert series, a family-friendly series of outdoor music events provided by Station Park Shopping Center in Farmington, Utah, is all set to blast off on August 2, 2014 with the first of six featured party bands. The concerts are free and will be held each Saturday night from August 2 through September 6, beginning at approximately 7:30 PM and finishing up at about 9:30 PM.

Station Park is excited for this years’ series, bringing back some crowd favorites from previous years as well as a couple of new groups for this years’ event. Green Light Booking, a Utah entertainment booking agency, is once again providing the party bands for the concerts. First on tap is Imagine, a Beatles Tribute Band and fan favorite from 2013. Incorporating authentic costumes, mop top haircuts, and an uncanny Beatles sound, the Fab Four sings many of the Beatles’ classics.

Caleb Chapman’s award-winning Crescent Super Band is another returnee. Caleb and his pop band won the 2014 Best of State Award for Vocal and Instrumental Group for the eighth consecutive year. The band is comprised entirely of high school-aged musicians that are hand-selected from cities all across the state of Utah. They have performed with members of Journey, Maroon 5, the Rolling Stones, and many other legendary groups. They have also headlined at Carnegie Hall.

Two highly-anticipated, new additions to this years’ series are the Motown Music Tribute Show and Nathan Osmond, country music singer. The Motown Show brings back the hits of the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and all the greatest Motown legends, while Nathan Osmond performs many of his #1 country hits as well as some popular cover tunes.

Kahuna Beach Party is a Beach Boys tribute band that includes fun, audience-interactive activities to go along with the best beach band songs of all time. Closing out the free summer concert series, and back by popular demand, is Party Crashers. Party Crashers is certain to bring in big crowds, so be sure to arrive early and secure a good spot.
