Spinphony is four virtuoso stringed musicians, three violins and a cello, combined with a club DJ. They take well-known classical, heavy metal, pop, hip hop, and classic rock tunes, and turn them into edgy, creative pop hits and mash ups for corporate events, weddings, fund raisers, awards banquets, concerts, galas, and private events. Their repertoire includes everything from Pachelbel’s Canon to Led Zeppelin to Lady Gaga to Michael Jackson and beyond.
With the added component of a professional club disc jockey, who fills out the sound with backing tracks, percussion, specialized musical instruments, and creative sounds, this electric string quartet is capable of producing a full symphony sound on a budget. They have become known as the “Spice Girls of Electric String Ensembles,” pushing the limits of how most people think about string quartets.
As a party band or cover band, they deliver music made famous by a wide range of legendary artists, using unique and creative arrangements that make each song come alive. For wedding parties, corporate functions, dances, and private events, Spinphony transforms into a high-energy dance band, performing current dance hits as well as older dance classics, keeping parties hopping from start to finish. With a bigger stage, the electric string quartet adds an extra element of choreography.
