(Newswire.net — June 12, 2015) Centerville, Utah –Utah County Association of Realtors is doing their part in helping Utah realtors become more knowledgeable to what’s important when helping clients buy a good reliable healthy home.  Daryl Olsen, President of The Flood Company will be teaching a class that covers mold and water damage.  The three hour class qualifies for three hours of core continuing education credits for realtor’s annual license renewal.

The class will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm June 23, 2015 at Utah County Association of Realtors located at 1031 W Center St, Orem, UT 84057.  For information regarding the class, please call 801-226-3777.  The class will be about the basics of mold, water damage, and the important things to look for in a home, making realtors more knowledgeable when looking for and helping with the purchase of their clients next or first home.

Some people think “it’s only water”, and so they delay or do nothing. But if it doesn’t dry quickly enough and develops mold it gets serious and very expensive. The content includes practical and safe methods for diagnosing water damage, and what it takes to get things dry. Attendees will also receive tips on making the insurance work more in their favor.  Some of the things this class will cover about mold are what it is, why it grows, how dangerous it is, and what the guidelines are for how it should be removed and cleaned up. Bad mold removal can be worse than no mold removal.

Daryl Olsen is a native of Utah and received an Engineering degree from The University of Utah. He also has an MBA from The University of Phoenix.
