Dr. Clifton Mays Awarded Membership to America’s Best Chiropractors 2018

This is the second year in a row that Dr. Mays was chosen to take home top honors by the National Consumer Advisory Board an organization that identifies top professionals in their fields. America’s Best Chiropractors Directory presented the award to Dr. Clifton Mays, D.C. in March of 2018.

Potential award recipients were required to have been recommended by another chiropractor, a patient or a healthcare colleague in order to be in contention for the America’s Best Chiropractors Directory, and were judged based on training, continuing education, experience, licensure, recommendations by peers and other aspects of their practices. The application process is specifically designed to identify the finest providers based on background, training, reputation and overall commitment to excellence. Dr. Clifton Mays has devoted over two decades of practice to helping his patients improve their lives through the benefits of chiropractic care. His practice has expanded to include functional medicine and physical rehabilitation to better serve his patients and the community. Dr. Mays is a Colorado native, where he completed his undergraduate studies and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University. While interning in Atlanta, Dr. Mays sought job opportunities in Northern Virginia, and in 1993 opened his first office in Fairfax, Virginia. After working a year in Fairfax, he relocated his office to nearby Chantilly, Virginia where he continued to practice until Dec. 2000. He then merged his office with a fellow chiropractor in Centreville, Virginia, where he practiced until Dec. 2002. His North Carolina office, was opened Feb. 9, 2002 in High Point, North Carolina. He has worked with group of chiropractors who have expanded the practice to include Greensboro and Winston Salem, allowing access to quality healthcare for people throughout the Piedmont Triad. He has co-published 2 books on health, wellness and thyroid dysfunction. He is married to Debi, a nurse at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has a daughter, Madison and has a pair of pure bred boxers.
