(Newswire.net — March 7, 2019) Orlando, FL — Alzheimer’s disease is a popular subject of many clinicians and researchers. It has been found to be extremely prevalent, especially in the United States.

Studies that were published in the Neuron journal have suggested that some immune cells in the brain may open the possibility of future Alzheimer’s disease treatments.

According to experts, the brain has immune cells known as microglia. It can be increase to diminish Alzheimer’s-related brain damage.

In the United States, Alzheimer’s disease has been found to affect over 5 million people. It is 6th rank in the top cause of death in the country.

Scientists say that this condition is characterized by neurological damage. It has been speculated to be due to plaques from the beta-amyloid sticky protein.

This protein is usually found in the membranes around nerve cells. When they clump together in forming small lumps between neurons, it hinders them from communicating with each other.

It is worth mentioning clumping is also called plaques, which can cause impairment in brain function.

The scientists were spearheaded by Prof. Huaxi Xu, the director of the Neuroscience Initiative at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Research Institute in La Jolla, CA.

They offered a new technique in eradication excessive accumulation of the brain protein.

The first study has shown that amyloid beta may trigger a process that could slow down the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.

It has further been suggested that blocking a key enzyme could potentially, completely reverse beta-amyloid plaque buildup in those with Alzheimer’s disease.

More studies are still underway to validate the ways in fighting Alzheimer’s disease. There are scientists who conducted studies on natural ingredients like berberine, which has a long history of medicinal use.

A study from the Shandong University of Technology in China suggests that berberine aids in preventing oxidation damage to biomolecules in the brain.

What makes it even more beneficial is that it inhibits enzymes that breakdown essential memory molecules. Experts also say it reduces peptides, which normally interfere with proper memory function.

Scientists also found that it reduces lipids that interrupts with cerebral blood flow. When it interacts with the brain, it has shown promise in warding off Alzheimer’s disease.

Berberine is believed to offer many health benefits, and this is why more and more people are turning to its use. It could be potentially useful to individuals who want to improve and protect their brain health.

One formula to consider using is Divine Bounty Berberine, which is gaining more and more attention and trust from consumers (amazon.com/Berberine-Supplement-600mg-Per-Capsule/dp/B06XPCSTYM).
