(Newswire.net — November 29, 2018) Wilmington, DE — Some medications have long been reputed to be beneficial for those with conditions like diabetes. Some of these medications are the DPP-4 inhibitor drugs, which have become the subject of a new research.

A study was published in JAMA. It was conducted by the researchers from the Imperial College London.

In this research, the investigators reveal that such medications do not decrease the risk of death among those with type 2 diabetes. This result was compared to the placebo and no-treatment groups.

Further, scientists found that while the DDP-4 inhibitor class did not reduce mortality risk, the SGLT-2 inhibitors and GLP-1 agonists did so significantly.

The scientists studied the three classes of diabetes medications to evaluate their effect on all-cause mortality, and even cardiovascular outcomes.

They carried out a network meta-analysis of more than 200 trials with over 170,000 patients, and compared the drugs against each other, a placebo, and no treatment at all.

The growing prevalence of diabetes continues to increase from around the world. This is why more and more researchers and health experts strongly recommend resorting to measures that could help fight the condition.

When it comes to diabetes, there are actually natural remedies being widely studied by clinicians and researchers due to their remarkable benefits. According to scientists, it is wise to take into account the use of a water-soluble B vitamin called biotin.

Studies have shown that biotin aids in reducing blood sugar levels. It has been found to work wonders in increasing the production of insulin. Researchers even found it enhances glucose uptake in muscle cells as well as stimulate glucokinase.

It is worth learning that glucokinase in the enzyme found in the liver that promotes glycogen synthesis. It is also worth stressing that daily biotin supplementation reduced fasting blood sugar concentrations by an average of approximately 45 percent in individuals suffering from type 2 diabetes.

What makes it even more interesting is that its high doses have been found to enhance symptoms of diabetic neuropathy.

This nerve damage condition is commonly found in those with diabetes. While more studies are still underway to validate the effects of biotin, it is worth mentioning that its use is widespread and even highly recommended.

There are those who turn to the use of supplements like DermaSafe Biotin 5000 PLUS, which gains overwhelming attention from consumers.

This formula is known for its high potency, and this is one of the reasons why it is believed to be superior over other brands. What makes it even more beneficial is that it is free from nasty ingredients, and is even protected with a money back guarantee.
