(Newswire.net — April 3, 2020) Orlando, FL — Multiple research studies have looked into the effects of pollution on human health. In a recently carried out study, it has been found that it is associated with certain mental health issues.

A study was published in the PLOS Biology.

In this research, it has been found that air pollution exposure could play a vital role in the onset of certain psychiatric disorders. Such a risk has been found to be particularly applicable during exposure in the first 10 years of life.

The study looked into data from the United States and Denmark to learn more about the possible link between environmental pollution and psychiatric disorders.

The study findings suggest that there were higher rates of both bipolar disorder and depression among those living in areas of poor air quality.

The investigators concluded that Danish individuals who lived in polluted areas were more than twice as likely to have schizophrenia and personality disorders.

“We hypothesized that pollutants might affect our brains through neuroinflammatory pathways that have also been shown to cause depression-like signs in animal studies,” says Andrey Rzhetsky, of the University of Chicago, IL, who spearheaded the study.

Aside from pollution, there are actually many other contributing factors of mental health issues. As the rates of these problems continue to soar, more and more researchers carry out studies to look into the various aspects of mental health.

Studies do not just investigate on the culprits of mental health issues, but also the potentially helpful remedies available. It is worth noting that some nutrients have been found particularly beneficial for mental health.

Vitamin B12 and other B vitamins have been found to potentially play a role in the production of certain brain chemicals that affect mood and some other brain functions. It is important to note that reduced levels of B12 and some other B vitamins like folate and B6 are associated with the onset of depression.

Experts have long warned against the reduced levels of B vitamins as it could result in various undesirable healing consequences. Some studies suggest that one of the most effective ways to combat mental health issues like depression is to nourish the body with these vitamins.

Vitamin B1 has been particularly useful for individuals with bipolar disorder who struggle from symptoms like irritability, anxiety, and night terrors. Other helpful vitamins for mental health are B6 and B12.

To benefit from the healing goodness of these natural remedies, it is wise to consider the use of formulas like Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07414752B).
