Researchers Now Warn BPA May Wreak Havoc on Fertility

(Newswire.net — July 3, 2020) Orlando, FL — Statistics reveal that in the United States, around 12 to 13 couples out of 100 have trouble becoming pregnant within 12 months of trying.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention further reveal that about 10 in 100 or 6.1 million women in the U.S. within the age bracket of 15 and 44 years have difficulties becoming or staying pregnant.

There are various factors found to contribute to infertility. In several new animal studies, it has been found that a chemical called bisphenol A may have harmful effects on fertility. BPA can be found in clear plastic bottles as well as other items people use on a daily basis.

These include sunglasses, CDs, and dental sealants as well as bottle tops and the lining of metal cans.

It is further worth mentioning that research has also shown BPA can cause arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats. The investigators suggest that BPA is a synthetic hormone that has estrogen-like properties.

This type of chemical can affect the fertility of babies whose mothers were exposed to the chemical.

These findings were presented at the Endocrine Society’s annual meeting, in Washington, D.C.

According to study co-author Scott Belcher, basically, it’s very clear that BPA is acting like estrogen.

Belcher is an associate professor of pharmacology at the University of Cincinnati.

“If we give estrogen at physiological concentrations, then add BPA, it’s actually a synergistic effect. It’s not like adding the two together. It’s worse,” he adds.

More research studies are still being carried out to explore the ways to enhance fertility. It is worth realizing that in some studies, certain natural remedies have been found to work wonders in protecting and improving one’s ability to conceive.

A rhizomatous plant called turmeric has been found helpful. The curcuminoids it contains could work wonders in enhancing fertility.

According to research studies, the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of turmeric could work wonders in inhibiting the growth of cells, which make up the uterine fibroids. It is worth realizing that it has further been found to prevent their proliferation.

Experts even say curcumin may inhibit the growth of endometrial cells, and this is due to its ability to regulate the secretion of oestrogen.

It is important to realize oestrogen is one of the female hormones that are vital for the menstrual cycle and fertility in women.

Curcumin has even been found to play a role in ovulation. Today, there are more and more experts who strongly recommend the use of this phytochemical for fertility enhancement and in warding off certain diseases.

One of the most recommended formulas to use is VitaBreeze Curcumin (www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Complex-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00JA4TLTI/).
