(Newswire.net — August 2, 2021) Orlando, FL — Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis in the United States. Aside from the symptoms it produces, it may also wreak havoc on mental and emotional health.

There have been many studies that looked into the impacts of this disease on the quality of life and health of sufferers. It is important to note that osteoarthritis is linked with social isolation, which pertains to loneliness in older adults that take a toll on their health and well-being.

Arthritis produces certain symptoms and health issues that increase the risk of social isolation among sufferers. These particularly include depression and anxiety, physical limitations, sedentariness, and being unable to take care of themselves.

It is worth noting that some 30 percent of adults who are 65 years and older suffer from arthritis to a certain degree, especially in their leg joints.

Scientists carried out a study, which was published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.

In this research, the investigators looked into the information from the European Project on OSteoArthritis (EPOSA) study. The EPOSA is a study of 2,942 adults between the ages of 65 to 85 years old who live in six European countries — Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

Overall, there were 1,967 people around the age of 73 in the study. The researchers aimed at knowing whether the subjects were socially isolated at the beginning of the study as well as 12 to 18 months later.

It has been found that of the 1,585 participants who weren’t considered socially isolated at the start of the study, 13 percent had become socially isolated 12 to 18 months later. They also reported a worsening of their health and their osteoarthritis condition.

They reported feelings of pain, less physical activity, and slower walking times.

More and more studies are being carried out to look into the impacts of taking some measures to combat the undesirable life and health effects of arthritis. There are also scientists who are stressing the relevance of maintaining the condition properly to reduce its negative impacts.

It is important to note that some remedies like the use of vitamins could be extremely helpful in delivering arthritis-fighting benefits. These include the use of B vitamins, which are a popular subject of research due to their medicinal benefits.

Some studies particularly suggest these nutrients aid in fighting arthritis-related diseases. What makes them even more beneficial is that they tend to enhance joint mobility and combat inflammation.

Today, formulas like Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex are widely resorted to by consumers.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07414752B).
