(Newswire.net — October 5, 2021) Orlando, FL — The pandemic continues to claim more and more lives worldwide. It is worth realizing that there are various factors found to increase the odds of mortality due to Covid-19.

Health authorities have been strongly warning against having chronic diseases like heart disease or cancer as they may increase the risk of death due to the virus. However, in a study, it appears that there are other contributors to death risk by Covid-19.

This study was published in Cardiovascular Research.

The team who carried out this research study includes Professor Jos Lelieveld, of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Mainz, Germany, and the Cyprus Institute Nicosia, Cyprus, Professor Thomas Münzel, from the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, and the German Center for Cardiovascular Research, Mainz, and Dr. Andrea Pozzer, from the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry.

The findings of this interesting research have shown that around 15 percent of deaths due to Covid-19 worldwide may be attributed to long-term exposure to air pollution.

This has led researchers to suggest that proportion of deaths from Covid-19 could be attributed to the exacerbating effects of air pollution for every country in the world.

In Europe, it has been found that the proportion was about 19 percent, in North America, it was 17 percent, and in East Asia about 27 percent.

There are actually many other factors found to increase the odds of death by Covid-19. Reports reveal that high mortality rates are observed among those with chronic diseases, such as diabetes and heart disease.

Individuals who have a weak immune system may also be more susceptible to the dangerous impacts of dying due to the virus. It is found that when the immune system is stronger, the body is better able to combat the life-threatening effects of Covid-19.

This is why today, more and more experts strongly recommend some immunity-boosting techniques in addition to social distancing and wearing of a mask.

Over decades, researchers have been studying the effects of following a healthy diet to protect and boost immunity. It is important to note that there is a wide selection of foods found to work wonders in delivering immunity-boosting benefits.

Aside from the consumption of fruits and vegetables, there are also medicinal mushrooms like lion’s mane that could be useful.

This widely studied kitchen ingredient has neuroprotective, cardiovascular-health enhancing, anti-inflammatory, cognitive-decline-fighting, nerve repairing, blood-pressure-lowering, immunity-boosting, cholesterol-regulating, and weight management properties.

To benefit from its use, it may be wise to consider the use of formulas like Divine Bounty Lion’s Mane (www.amazon.com/Organic-Lions-Mane-Mushroom-Capsules/dp/B07LGR1KN7).
