(Newswire.net — November 2, 2021) Orlando, FL — Health authorities have long warned that having high blood cholesterol increases the risk of heart disease. It is essential to take this into account as high LDL increases the risk of heart disease.

In the United States, there are 71 million adults or 33.5 percent with high low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol levels. It is similarly important to be warned that only 1 in every 3 adults with high LDL levels is able to manage the condition.

Doctors have long revealed that reducing cholesterol levels can decrease the risk of a heart attack. It also decreases the need for heart bypass surgery or angioplasty and dying of heart disease.

The National Cholesterol Education Program External recommends getting cholesterol levels checked every five years.

Health authorities have long been recommending resorting to the most helpful measures in reducing LDL levels. This can be made by avoiding cigarette smoking and engaging in exercise activities regularly.

Having the right diet is another way to manage healthy cholesterol levels. There are foods scientifically found beneficial in enhancing the levels of HDL or good cholesterol, and reducing LDL levels.

Today, there are many all-natural remedies found to be potentially helpful in managing levels of blood fats.

Scientists have long been investigating the therapeutic goodness of resveratrol, especially its positive effects on blood fats. In some studies involving animals, it has been found supplementation of resveratrol may alter blood fats in a healthy, good way.

In 2016, a study involving mice with a high-protein, the high-polyunsaturated fat diet has shown that resveratrol supplementation led to some benefits. More particularly, it reduced the average total cholesterol levels and bodyweight of the mice.

What makes its use even more beneficial is that it enhanced the levels of “good” HDL cholesterol. Scientists suggest that resveratrol appeared to influence levels of cholesterol due to its effect on an enzyme that manipulates the production of cholesterol.

Due to its antioxidant ability, resveratrol has further been found to decrease the oxidation of “bad” LDL cholesterol. It is worth realizing that LDL oxidation contributes to plaque buildup in artery walls.

A study has further shown that intake of grape seed reduced LDL by 4.5 percent and oxidized LDL by 20 percent.

While more studies are still underway to validate the therapeutic benefits of resveratrol, its use is undeniably widespread.

Today, there are those who take supplements like Divine Bounty Resveratrol, which is popularized by its high potency and purity (https://amazon.com/Resveratrol-Supplement-Strength-Extract-capsules/dp/B019C0UU5S).
