(Newswire.net — February 11, 2022) Orlando, FL — More and more scientists are conducting studies to learn about how Alzheimer’s disease exactly develops and how it can be prevented.

While it has not been established yet what causes the development of the disease, it is worth noting that recent research findings reveal brain changes linked with Alzheimer’s.

This study was published in the March 8, 2019 edition of Scientific Reports.

Researchers from the CNRS, the Écolepratique des hautesétudes (EPHE), and the University of Valencia (Spain) carried out a study.

In this research, they examined more than 4,000 MRI scans of healthy and diseased brains using the “volBrain” platform. The study findings highlight early atrophy of the amygdala and hippocampus at age 40 in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.

The investigators revealed that Alzheimer’s disease is characterized by alterations in the brain. It is worth noting that some of these changes are measured using biomarkers, such as the size of different areas of the brain.

It is worth mentioning that investigating these biomarkers has revealed that some brain structures shrink in the presence of Alzheimer’s disease prior to the appearance of the first signs of dementia.

Today, new interesting studies are revealing some interesting and potentially helpful facts about Alzheimer’s disease. There are even those that found some natural remedies may work wonders in fighting this brain health issue.

Scientists say that a phytochemical called curcumin may work wonders in enhancing and protecting brain health. This polyphenol is widely studied due to its powerful healing potential.

According to 114 studies, curcumin-containing turmeric offers a neuroprotective set of physiological actions. It is worth realizing that all of these studies feature turmeric’s anti-Alzheimer’s disease agents.

Two studies highlight curcumin’s ability to improve the clearance of the pathological amyloid-beta plaque in Alzheimer’s disease patients. Preclinical research even finds curcumin has inhibitory and protective effects against Alzheimer’s disease-linked with β-amyloid proteins.

There are other mechanisms curcumin has been found to work in fighting Alzheimer’s disease. It is important to learn that this phytochemical has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, renoprotective, insulin-sensitizing, genoprotective, antifungal, adaptogenic, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains an anticoagulant, antiseptic, anti-platelet, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, immunomodulating, and anti-catabolic agents.

Most of these healing properties are scientifically found helpful in benefiting the brain. Due to the remarkable therapeutic potentials of curcumin, experts are strongly recommending its use.

One formula to consider is Incredipure Curcumin, which is known widely for its high potency and purity. This supplement could be helpful for individuals who want to obtain the brain-health benefits of curcumin (https://www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Supplement-BioPerine-Capsule/dp/B0166KAW8M).
