(Newswire.net — November 24, 2022) Orlando, FL — Research studies have been highlighting the various aspects of hormonal health issues like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This common condition is being widely studied by scientists and may be preventable.

Experts now highlight new hope for women who have become infertile because of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

The findings of this research were published in the journal Fertility and Sterility.

It highlights that the drug metformin increases ovulation and the odds of pregnancy in patients when combined with the commonly used fertility drug clomiphene citrate than the use of clomiphene alone.

The research was a collaboration of researchers from four medical centers, including the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

According to experts, four percent to 6 percent of reproductive-age women suffer from PCOS. It is worth noting that this condition actually prevents regular ovulation. Many of these women actually ovulate so infrequently that conception ends up being extremely troublesome.

This pill called Clomiphene citrate has been used with relative success. As a matter of fact, about two-thirds of women who take the pill ovulate, and approximately one-third become pregnant. For those who stay unresponsive, the only viable alternatives today are surgery and injectable fertility drugs.

It is worth noting that both of these have potentially dangerous side effects.

“We don’t want to cause dangerous situations in women who are otherwise very healthy,” says Valerie S. Ratts, M.D., an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the School of Medicine.

“It would be nice to have an alternative way to treat these women safely and effectively.”

Scientists are increasingly carrying out studies to investigate the various aspects of PCOS. Plant-based remedies are being widely studied by the scientific community today as treatments for various conditions like PCOS.

These include the widely-studied plant compound called Diindolylmethane (DIM), which is correlated with certain health benefits. This therapeutic remedy may help in hormonal balance and even has anti-androgenic properties that are helpful in PCOS cases.

In benefiting from the therapeutic goodness of this remedy, it is wise to consider the use of Purest Vantage DIM. This formula has 250mg Diindolylmethane Plus BioPerine and Dong Quai and is crafted according to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.

Over the years, researchers have been looking into the therapeutic benefits of using DIM and the ingredients in this formula. Intake of this supplement has long been thought to be extremely helpful for reproductive health. (www.amazon.com/DIM-Diindolylmethane-250mg-Per-Capsule/dp/B072C46H29)
