(Newswire.net — February 8, 2016) — Just days before voting in the New Hampshire primary begins, Madeleine Albright addresses Hillary Clinton’s supporters in a way that does more damage than favor to her campaign.

Former Secretary of State, who served in President Bill Clinton’s cabinet, condemned all women who don’t support Hillary Clinton to eternal suffering and pain in hell.

“There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other” Madeleine Albright said as she addressed supporters at a rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Saturday.

Though Albright’s comment invoked massive approval by the women gathered to support Clinton for the Oval Office, that kind of support does more harm than good to Hillary’s campaign, political analysts agree, pointing out that the comment can easily push women who have not yet made their decision towards Bernie Sanders.

Although Hillary Clinton finds Albright’s comment funny, social networks were flooded with comments that were not funny in the least.

“There’s a ‘Special Place in Hell’ for Madeleine Albright”, journalist Nathan Wellman wrote on US Uncut, citing her prominent role in NATO’s 1999 bombing of Serbia which led to the deaths of 2,000 civilians, including 88 children.

Adding more steam to negative comments, Ms Magazine founder Gloria Steinem said on Friday in “Real Time with Bill Maher” that women who support Bernie Sanders do that to attract men because “the boys are with Bernie,” she said. The comment led to outrage on social networks.

“Your dismissal of these young women as just being horny and supporting Bernie simply to find boys, is sooo [sic] disappointing on so many levels. Shame on you, Gloria, and all baby boomer feminists for slut shaming the younger women for following their own judgment,” wrote foolme1ns blogger for Daily Kos in a Sunday post titled ‘Baby Boomer feminists slut shaming millennials.’

According to comments on social networks, statements made by both Albright and Steinem have done no favors for Clinton’s campaign, but rather have generated more support for Bernie Sanders.
