Thames Valley police officials have discovered the body of a woman in Bracknell. Even though formal identification has yet to be conducted, the officials believe it to be 47-year-old Gail. Gail has been missing since 11 p.m. the night before. The police officials have expressed no suspicions about the nature of the death, but they are considering the case to be unexplained. They are waiting for the coroner to file a report to take further necessary steps.
The disappearance of the Wokingham woman is the latest Wokingham News involving missing persons The Thames Valley police officials were assisted in the search by the Berkshire Search and Rescue Dogs and Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue team. The body of the woman was located due to their joint effort in Foresters Way, Bracknell, at around 10:30 in the morning on July 28. After finding the body, the police informed the family of 47-year-old Gail about commencing the formal identification process. The body can be officially declared as that of Gail’s only after the formal identification process has been completed.
The woman was described by Thames Valley police officials as 5 feet 8 inches tall, white, average build, with shoulder-length curly hair. When she went missing, she was wearing a purple top with a round neck, loose brown trousers, and white and tan flat shoes. It is also believed that she was wearing glasses when she went missing.
Thames Valley police officials were extremely concerned for the safety and welfare of the woman after she was reported missing. They conducted thorough searches in the Crown Estate Woods as they believed her to have travelled to that area. The Crown Estate Woods belong to Bracknell county, and the officials were conducting a comprehensive search of the area for the entire night.
Concerned about being unable to find the Wokingham woman, the Thames Valley police officials also requested the help of locals to find the missing woman. A description of the woman’s build and clothes was released to the public to get extra help. The public was asked to contact the Thames Valley police officials by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 2518 27/07/22 in case they had any crucial information that would help the police officials in discovering the whereabouts of the missing Wokingham woman. The investigating officer on the case was Inspector Dave Keenan, who led the search team and coordinated the entire search. He was also instrumental in roping in the locals to aid in the search activities.

She offered heartfelt condolences and support to the family and friends of the deceased Wokingham woman.
