AleQuiz was created by AMG Services to respond to the challenge of bringing new customers into pubs. It has already launched in the UK to test out the market. The app has been successful at bringing new life, and new customers, to pubs in the form of a night of quiz game fun.
“As a new generation of pub quiz, AleQuiz allows teams and individual players to compete against others in their local pubs, and to hold competitions between pubs nationwide in real time, using a handheld device called a Quizkey,” said Dennis Porter, director of gaming for AMG Services Technology. “With a number of pubs already live in the UK, the service is now set to launch in other nations such as the United States and Germany.”
With more than 25,000 licensed locations in the database it’s easy to find and nominate a location if it’s not running AleQuiz already. AleQuiz uses cloud-based technology, a small computing device, and patent pending systems to bring content to the locations. Users can search for participating AleQuiz pubs via their smartphone.
AMG Services has enlisted several World Class quiz champions with years of experience setting quizzes, in order to curate and develop appropriate quiz questions.
