Fort Worth, TX (June 5th, 2018)- Anzea Textiles has released new Sunbrella patterns in its Urban Collection. This collection sparks integration and interaction between the static and social environments through tactility and vibrant colors. Each pattern and colorway has extracted inspiration from the urban community surrounding Anzea’s headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. This Urban Collection is woven from the fluidity of the street reflections after a rain on a loom of gritty lines and suspended power cables with the bold hard edges of graffiti art. It is the fabric of the evolving neighborhood.

The first three Sunbrella upholstery patters in the Urban collection include Morph, Metro, and My Way. The Sunbrella contract yarns used in these three patterns insures the performance of the product in the most demanding commercial environments, indoor and out. Sunbrella is resistant to fading caused by sunlight and demanding cleaning protocols. It is mold and mildew resistant as well as bleach cleanable.

Anzea was founded in 1990 by director Mitzi Mills and her partner Bruce Doeren. Anzea focuses on contracting upholstery textiles that offer the marketplace an option of leading edge colors, bold designs, and high performance. These designs reflect Mitzi’s graphic design background and her love of photography and travel. Anzea textile collection is a spirited mix of materials from luxurious natural fibers to recycled polyester yarns. For example, woven fabrics that are bleach cleanable and solution dyed with vinyl upholstery and green faux leathers in nylon matrix and polyurethane form a cohesive high performance product offering. Anzea curates a refreshing and unique collection of multi-use textiles including drapery, wall-coverings, and light duty upholstery fabrics.

Anzea completes the textile offering by adding renowned names from the interior design and fashion industries. Ruth Adler Schnee, Jhane Barnes, and Jennifer Eno collaborate with the creative team to develop high performance upholstery textiles. Design, marketing, and warehouse facilities are located in the Fort Worth, Texas arts district. To learn more about Anzea, check out their Facebook page.
