(Newswire.net — June 11, 2013) Portland, OR — Others struggle with feelings of guilt for ‘carrying the gene’ or allowing the doctor to vaccinate them. These children struggle as well, usually to communicate and be understood by those around them.
More and more evidence indicates that there are a number of things that lead to a toxic overload that affects neurological development. Parents speak about seeing their children regress and change. This usually indicates that there is something that is happening in their bodies after they are born and begin the developmental process.
The majority of children get vaccines every year without any neurological damage. That being said there are some interesting parallels that say that vaccines do play a part. Children today are getting more vaccines in the first year of life than ever before.
There are also a higher percentage of children developing autism each year. We can’t swear that there is a cause and effect, but many of the studies are showing that this isn’t just a coincidence. The mercury and other stabilizers and preservatives appear to be more at fault than the vaccines themselves.
Another item that autistic children seem to have in common is high level of other heavy metals. When we hear autism we think of mercury, but these children also show higher levels of lead, tungsten, thallium, and tin. All of these have been linked to lower brain function. It appears that the higher the level of these metals, the stronger the symptoms of autism.
There is also some evidence that older mothers statistically have more autistic children than younger mothers. Poorer families seem to be at a greater risk than more affluent families.
Returning to the toxicity theory for autism then it would make sense that an older mother could have built up more toxicity in her body than a younger woman. Those toxicity buildups and the corresponding nutritional deficiencies are then passed to the child during pregnancy.
The same holds true as well for the economically disadvantaged.
In today’s society, poor families have limited choices in obtaining nutritionally sound foods. Their living environments are typically more abundant in toxins. These include everything from lead paint, exhaust fumes, to pesticides and additives in the processed foods they eat. Again, any toxicity in the mother at the time of the pregnancy is passed to the child.
If toxicity overload is a potential cause of the autism symptoms doesn’t it make sense that reducing that toxic load could reduce or eliminate those symptoms?
Reducing toxicity can include such thing as digestive enzymes, getting rid of all sugars, pesticides, chemical preservatives, food colorings, and all other additives in processed foods. Chemicals around the house also need to be eliminated as well. We absorb them through our lungs and skin. It also includes forms of detoxification such as Epsom salt and clay baths, keeping the bowels moving regularly and getting the child to sweat.
Putting good things into the child might also help. Studies are showing promise in such things as probiotics and fecal transplants. These replace missing bacteria in the child’s digestive tract that allows the child better digestion and absorption of nutrients. Other promising avenues include supplementing their diets with such items as fish oil, antioxidants and the other nutrients that may be missing from picky eating.
If your child is autistic, does it truly mean they are unable to learn or that they simply relate to our world differently and therefore learn differently than their peers?
Anecdotal evidence indicates that autistic children can be truly geniuses. One eleven year old autistic boy has been accepted to college and is studying condensed matter physics. Does that sound “mentally deficient”?
