(Newswire.net — September 12, 2015) — Home and Recreation, a website for international home styling and healthy activity advice, will feature Scott Tucker’s “The Candle Making Experience,” event this October. The event will show Tucker and other experienced candle makers complete the process of creating hand dipped candles.
“Most people have candles in their homes and have no idea the effort that went into making them,” says Home and Recreation writer Trent Nosh. “Educational classes like this can really broaden the understanding of the average persons world. This class will give people a chance to understand a little more about the way the normal things in their home are made.”
The event will take place at the October Art Crawl on Bishop Street in the front room of Studio Three. The feature room will show three candle makers in various stages of producing candles for the duration of the six hour art crawl. Black candles and multicolored candles will be produced by the team in a variety of shapes and sizes.
“I am really looking forward to the art crawl in October, I cant wait to show off this experience,” says Tucker. “The other artists I will be bringing with me to the event will actually be doing most of the work since I will be hosting and explaining to our audience each part of the process that the other artists are working on.”
The debut night of “The Candle Making Experience” will feature local artists and materials sourced exclusively from the United States of America. Candles produced by the artists will be available for sale in front of Studio Three during the last hour of the October Art Crawl on Bishop Street. The event will be running from 6pm-11pm.
