(Newswire.net — September 25, 2014) Chandler , AZ — Impressions Dental is teaming up with Aspen Orthodontics to host the 7th annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back on Monday, November 3, 2014. Activities such as a bounce house, balloon artists, the Waffle Crush truck and a dunk-the-dentist booth will begin at 3 p.m. and continue until 7 p.m. at 5970 S. Cooper Road, Chandler, Arizona. A highlight of the event will be a drawing for $1,000 in dental care and $1,000 in orthodontic work awarded to two lucky winners.
The event encourages children and their families to donate their Halloween candy and receive $1 for each pound of candy. In addition to the money children make by giving up candy, their Chandler family dentist, Impressions Dental, donates an additional 50 cents to a local school on their behalf. The candy that is collected at the event does not go to waste. It will be given to Operation Gratitude for inclusion in care packages for delivery to active duty members of the U.S. military who are serving overseas.
Sponsorship of the event by a dentist in Chandler AZ was not a coincidence. “As a dentist, I have seen all too often how candy can wreak havoc on my patient’s teeth,” stated Dr. Brigham D.
