Common Industrial Chemical Now Associated With Male Infertility

(Newswire.net — October 27, 2022) Orlando, FL — Decades of research have revealed that there are many factors driving the increase in infertility rates worldwide.

One study highlights that a common industrial chemical that is present in groundwater supplies has been found in the semen fluid of infertile men.

Dr. Poh-Gek Forkert, Queen’s University research scientist, looked into male mechanics who use trichloroethylene (TCE) in the workplace. It has been found that in the seminal fluid of the subjects, there was a presence of TCE.

The findings of this interesting study were published in the March issue of the international journal, Drug Metabolism and Disposition.

There were other researchers in the study and they came from Wayne State University in Detroit, the University of Montreal, the Ottawa Health Research Institute, the University of California at Davis, and the London Health Sciences Centre.

It is worth noting that a volatile chemical called TCE is used extensively in the automotive and metal industries as a de-greasing agent. It can also be found in paints, lubricants, adhesives, varnishes, paint strippers, pesticides, spot removers, and rug-cleaning fluids.

Its detection in both underground and surface water sources has also long been documented. What makes TCE alarming is that it is associated with kidney, liver, and lung damage.

The National Toxicology Program in the U.S. estimates that 3.5 million workers are exposed to the chemical.

“Taken together, the results of our studies in mice and in humans support the premise that TCE is metabolized in the human reproductive tract, and can adversely affect the normal development of sperm,” says Dr. Forkert.

“These results have serious implications for potential toxicities from chemicals that may lead to the reported decline in semen quality in humans.”

Today, scientists are increasingly looking into the impacts of toxins, heavy metals, and industrial chemicals on the reproductive system and overall health. It is important to keep in mind that toxins have long been identified to increase the risk of a range of chronic ailments.

While absolutely avoiding exposure to these toxins is impossible, there are ways to fight their detrimental effects on the body. Some experts recommend having a body detox, which can be done through the use of Divine Bounty Activated Charcoal.

Activated charcoal has long been studied due to its remarkably porous surface, which traps toxins and chemicals. There are many who resort to its use to get relief from digestive health issues, such as bloating, constipation, and diarrhea.

This therapeutic remedy is even used for food poisoning and hangovers (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071NZ5G57).
