He specializes in peripheral neuropathy care. Neuropathy is a painful condition that causes severe pain and numbness in the extremities. The condition seems to affect diabetics and post-chemotherapy patients. This population of patients have compromised immune systems further adding to the complexity of treating them.

Dr.Kirshner will be heading up Neuropathy@CoreHeallth. This is an exciting program where patients are taught how to self treat primarily at home. Over 80% of the treatment is done at home.
