Espressotec and Roaster Central Now Open Sundays

(Newswire.net — December 29, 2018) Vancouver, BC — Coffee cravings don’t take a day off… And your home barista experience shouldn’t have to, either! That’s why Espressotec has officially extended its store hours to include Sundays — for the holidays and beyond.

As of this month, Espressotec’s spacious showroom (located on Clark Drive in Vancouver, BC) and its coffee-tasting centre, Roaster Central, is open to the public and industry professionals seven days a week. Its new Sunday hours will match those of Saturday, meaning coffee-lovers of every type are welcome to shop, sample coffees, seek espresso machine service and advice, and explore all things coffee between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

“It’s really encouraging to see the coffee industry flourishing here in Vancouver — and we want to support its development as much as we can,” says Reg James, Espressotec’s owner and the innovator behind Roaster Central, Vancouver’s first coffee-tasting bar. “If that means serving fellow coffee-lovers on Sundays too, we’re all in.”

“Of course, our online store is open 24/7, but there’s so much more we can offer our customers in-store,” adds Rob Paton, Espressotec’s general manager. “Personalized advice and attention from our baristas, machine inspections and repairs, demonstrations, training, package deals, coffee-tastings — our cup is literally overflowing into Sunday.”

The company’s extended hours mean not only an extra day to access all of the offerings at Espressotec and Roaster Central, but also the potential for additional classes and event opportunities.

“Weekends have always been the prime times for budding home baristas and coffee-drinkers to attend workshops, as most folks work during the week and have more time to explore different facets of coffee-making at their leisure on a Saturday or Sunday,” explains Alison Ensworth, marketing and communications coordinator at Espressotec. “Up until now, that meant perhaps only four days each month to host the training and events our customers are looking for. But now that we’re open on Sundays, our opportunities have virtually doubled.”
