Esthetics School “The Skin Institute” Welcomes New Students from Different States in St. G

The Skin Institute instructors and Mary Ronnow, the school founder, welcomed new Esthetician Students and Master Estheticians students who started spring term in May. The first day was very interesting because many students had similar touching stories about what made them decide to choose esthetics as a profession.

The first hour, Mary Ronnow, the school founder, talked about The Skin Institute Esthetics School. She was sharing the big picture about learning process, including opportunity to shadow and work with the world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Patel, have access to dermatologist Dr. Bishop, whose office is located next door to the school.

She talked about students who graduated from The Skin Institute. Mary mentioned that school graduates work all over the world. Many graduates work in world famous spas such as Red Mountain Spa in St. George Utah as well as, many Las Vegas luxurious spas.

Next, some school instructors shared their story about why they decided to join The Skin Institute team. Kelli Charlton, the director of education, told new students her story about how she burned her face, shoulders and legs while rafting. Her daughter, who was an esthetician student at that time, brought her to see Mary Ronnow and scheduled treatments. Kelly said she fall in love with the school’s services and students and decided to teach. Kelly Charlton has a strong academic background. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English Education and holds a professional educators license in the State of Utah.

New students had an opportunity to introduce themselves and share their story about why they decided to become aestheticians and why they chose The Skin Institute. The ages of the new students ranged from 19 to 40 years old. For some new students, attending the institute is a step towards their first professional career. For other students, attending the institute is a huge career change.

Several students shared stories about relatives or friends who had skin cancer. These students expressed that it influenced their decision to become beauty professionals because it created an opportunity for them to educate people about skin and provide outstanding services.

At the end of the day, all new students received luxurious beauty treatments from the school instructors and Master Estheticians, who all graduated from The Skin Institute.
