(Newswire.net — February 23, 2021) Orlando, FL — Over decades, researchers have been investigating the effects of sleep on human health. It is important to always keep in mind having adequate sleep is vital for disease protection.

A study was presented at the American College of Cardiology’s Annual Scientific Session Together with World Congress of Cardiology (ACC.20/WCC).

In this research, it has been found those who are able to sleep seven or eight hours every night had stiffness in the arteries that were significantly less. The findings of this study reveal that regular sleep pattern may reduce the odds of a stroke or a heart disease.

The scientists also accounted for the other known risk factors for stroke or heart disease, and found that those who had less than six hours or more than eight hours of sleep every night had certain improvements.

These particularly pertain to the significantly higher odds of plaque accumulation in the walls of their carotid arteries by 54 percent and 39 percent.

The findings of this research adds to the mounting evidence that in the same way as diet and exercise, sleep patterns may play a major role in cardiovascular risk.

According to Evangelos Oikonomou, MD, consultant cardiologist and the study’s lead author, the message, based on our findings, is ‘sleep well, but not too well.’

“Getting too little sleep appears bad for your health but too much seems to be harmful as well,” he adds.

Today, studies investigating on the various remedies to enhance heart health continue to increase. There are actually many ways to improve cardiovascular health and protection.

These include remedies like L-Carnitine, which is a widely studied amino acid. Various studies have been carried out in the past to investigate on the effects of this all-natural remedy for heart health.

A research study has shown that by maintaining adequate levels of L-Carnitine, the body is able to enhance cardiac health. L-Carnitine is usually found in red meat but can also be taken via supplementation, such as Divine Bounty L-Carnitine.

According to researchers, L-Carnitine has a significant role to play in energy metabolism as well as for the regulation of blood glucose. In muscle tissue and the heart’s myocardium, L-carnitine aids in the transportation of long-chain fatty acids across the inner mitochondrial membrane.

It is worth noting that the mitochondrial membrane is where they become a primary substrate in energy production, metabolized via beta-oxidation.

Nowadays, consumers resort to the use of formulas like Divine Bounty L-Carnitine to experience the healing goodness of this remedy (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XF7K9MM).
