Vancouver, BC – June 5, 2013 – – Mission Possible is pleased to announce that former NHL Player and Abbotsford Heat President, Ryan Walter will be the keynote speaker for the Mission Possible Executive Leadership Lunch and Learn to be held on June 17, 2013, 11.30am at the SFU: Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue.

At The Mission Possible Executive Leadership Lunch and Learn Ryan will be speaking about some of the topics contained in his latest book “Hungry!: Fuelling Your Best Game.” Ryan played and coached more than 1100 games over seventeen seasons in the National Hockey League. When speaking and training Ryan draws on his vast leadership experience like being one of the youngest NHL captains in the league when he was with the Washington Capitals. Throughout his professional sports and business career Ryan has had to find a way to stay hungry and motivate his teammates and employees at the same time.

Since retiring from the NHL as a player, Ryan has been an NHL coach, co-founder and president of two start-up companies, a TV and radio hockey analyst, and a hockey adviser and actor for both television and movies.

The Mission Possible Executive Leadership Lunch and Learn is a corporate networking opportunity over a complimentary lunch, while engaging and learning from an inspirational speaker. There will be between 150-200 CEOs and other corporate executives who attend, many of whom have been connected with Mission Possible in the past, while others will hear about Mission Possible for the first time.

Sponsorship for the event is being provided by Delta Vancouver Suites (Title Sponsor), CN (Reception Sponsor) and the SFU: Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue (Venue Sponsor).
