(Newswire.net — June 6, 2013) Denver, CO — Modern Real Estate brokerage owner Ryan Jonke’s boots-on-the-ground reporting is backed up by statistics. According to a recent published report, the city’s median home price increased about four-percent in the one-month period between March and April. The report shows Denver’s 268-thousand dollar median home price in March jumped to 280-thousand dollars in April. The numbers mean that on average Denver homeowners gained about 12-thousand dollars of property value in just one month.
Meanwhile, Modern Real Estate brokerage owner Paul Kenner says the Rocky Mountain State’s housing recovery appears to be happening across the nation. “The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reports that Pending Home Sales in a recent month were up seven-percent from the year before. Pending Home Sales is a leading indicator for the housing sector based on pending sales of existing homes. Also, all 20 major cities in the recently released S&P Case Shiller Home Price Index are reporting gains in overall home prices. Cities including Las Vegas, Phoenix and San Francisco have had year-over-year gains of 20-percent and higher. Those cities are bouncing back faster than others, but they were also among the hardest hit during the housing crisis. The Case Shiller report shows home prices in March were nearly eleven-percent higher than the year previous year, and at the highest level in more than six years.”
Modern Real Estate brokerage owner Ryan Jonke says his agency can help buyers and sellers get their best deal in a constantly changing market. “We urge home owners and buyers to contact one of our highly trained Realtors who can help them better understand the housing market. With values increasing so fast and also having a limited number of homes for sale, folks on both sides of the transaction should seek guidance from a seasoned Realtor. We’re doing Comparative Market Analyses on homes on a weekly basis because values and inventory are shifting so rapidly.”
Modern Real Estate brokerage owner Paul Kenner says Denver will always be a popular place to call home, despite the housing market’s up and downs. “With Denver’s 300 plus days of sunshine, rich culture, and thousands of outdoor activities it should come as no surprise to anyone that Denver real estate is extremely desirable. Denver, or the Mile High City, has always been riding high on the market as one of the most desirable places in the United States to live. Modern Real Estate’s Priority is to know the Denver Metropolitan area inside and out. Our Real Estate Professionals are experts on Denver and its surrounding areas.
