(Newswire.net — September 23, 2021) Orlando, FL — Urinary tract infections (UTIs) affect around 150 million people around the globe every year. It is the second most common infectious disease that the community practice encountered.

Scientists are increasingly investigating the all-natural remedies potentially helpful against UTIs, which are often treated with antibiotics. Unfortunately, the use of this type of medication is linked with side effects like antimicrobial resistance.

The good news is that certain remedies have been found by studies to be particularly helpful.

A study was carried out and published in the Pertanika Journal of Tropical Agricultural Science.

In this study, it has been found the use of garlic extract may be effective against multi-drug resistant strains of pathogenic bacteria linked with urinary tract infections (UTI).

This research was carried out by investigators at the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences in India.

“Even crude extracts of [garlic] showed good activity against multidrug-resistant strains where antibiotic therapy had limited or no effect. This provides hope for developing alternative drugs which may be of help in fighting the menace of growing antibacterial resistance,” the research team states.

This research has shown that 56 percent of 166 bacteria strains isolated from the urine of individuals with UTI exhibited a high degree of antibiotic resistance. However, around 82 percent of the antibiotic-resistant bacteria were prone to a crude aqueous extract of Allium sativum

Due to the high prevalence of antimicrobial resistance, experts are increasingly recommending the intake of some all-natural UTI-fighting remedies.

Intake of cranberry juice has long been known to be significantly helpful in warding off UTIs and treating recurrent infections. It is worth noting cranberry has also long been linked with a myriad of health benefits.

The UTI-fighting powers of cranberry stem from the therapeutic sugar it contains called D-mannose. It has been found to work by binding with the UTI-causing bacteria and eliminating them from the body.

There are many experts who recommend the intake of D-mannose in reducing the risk of infections, especially to those who are prone to UTIs.

Aside from drinking cranberry juice, this therapeutic remedy may also be obtained through the use of Divine Bounty D-mannose. This amazing formula is known for its high potency and is widely resorted to by individuals who struggle with UTIs.

Divine Bounty D-mannose is made carefully in an FDA-inspected facility in the U.S. It also has added ingredients like cranberry and dandelion extracts. What makes this formula even more beneficial is that it comes with a money-back guarantee (amazon.com/D-Mannose-600mg-Cranberry-Dandelion-Extract/dp/B01LX5KGF0).
