Gehr Plastics Announces 24 Inch Natural Copolymer Acetal Rod

(Newswire.net — September 24, 2015) Anaheim, CA — Gehr Plastics, Boothwyn, PA has announced the addition of 24 inch (600mm) diameter Natural Acetal Copolymer Rod to their expansive product line. The 24 inch diameter Acetal is now the largest production size in the World.

24 Inch Acetal Rod Is Worlds Largest

The new 24 inch diameter Natural Acetal Copolymer rod is produced in a standard length of 39″, but can be cut to length for specific applications and requirements. Up until this release, the largest Copolymer Acetal made globally was in the 20 inch range.

This addition makes producing large discs and rings quicker and cheaper than cutting from sheet, and eliminating the waste from cutting sheet. Some applications for this exceptionally large Acetal rod would be in the silicon chip manufacturing, food processing equipment and high wear gears in industrial applications. This high quality POM-C Copolymer Acetal material is also available in Black color in 400mm and 500mm diameters, as well as all the smaller standard diameter rods.
