(Newswire.net — June 26, 2018) Orlando, FL — Natural remedies like green tea have been thought to be highly therapeutic. Green tea is even believed to be effective for fighting various conditions, such as certain neurological issues.
Green tea is thought to be nature’s healing gift against dementia. There are many people who suffer from this condition in many areas around the globe. There is actually a wide array of pharmaceutical drugs available, and they are also widely used by consumers.
These medications are formulated to fight symptoms or even help sufferers manage their condition. However, it is important to remember that many of these medications do not have what it takes to properly address the health problem.
What makes their use even more disadvantageous is that they could potentially cause side effects. It would be wise to take into account the use of natural remedies, which are believed to not just fight dementia but also offer other therapeutic effects.
In a recent research study involving 500 participants, it was revealed that increased green tea consumption has helped decrease the risk of dementia. The researchers came from the Kanazawa University Graduate School of Medical Science in Japan.
This study was presented at the Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease Conference in Nice, France.
Two cognitive assessments in 2007 were also utilized to assess the cognitive function of the subjects. It is worth mentioning that the assessments were the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR).
There were 723 subjects who were 60 years old and beyond. These participants did not have dementia and their blood test as well as their APOE genotype assessment was taken.
The researchers found that those who did not consume green tea had slightly lower MMSE scores. However, the researchers stressed out that these scores did not necessarily equate to having cognitive impairment or dementia. They also conclude that consumption of this therapeutic beverage could be advantageous for cognitive function.
In a study published by the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, it was revealed that combination of green tea extracts and exercise has resulted in the delay of Alzheimer’ disease progression.
While green tea is widely consumed in a beverage form, it could also be efficiently taken through supplementation. Divine Bounty Resveratrol supplement is a product consumers should consider using if they want to take advantage of the healing effects of green tea.
Resveratrol has long been thought to be a powerful antioxidant. Divine Bounty’s resveratrol supplement contains not just extracts of green tea, but also of grape seed, Acai and red wine.
