The recently released book is the sixth book in the Bear Creek Brides Series, a collection of romantic stories based in the United States in the late 1800s and early 1900s. It is available in paperback, on Amazon Kindle, and as an audiobook.
The new release is set in Montana in 1893 and tells the story of a young woman named Bethany Duncan and an upstanding Deputy Sheriff called Tanner Williams. Their love story begins when Tanner places an ad in the paper for a mail-order bride.
Desperate to escape the clutches of her controlling father, Bethany responds to the ad and travels from Tennessee to Montana to be with the deputy she has fallen in love with. But when she arrives in Tanner’s hometown, she discovers a town that is torn apart by violence and danger.
The violence in the town threatens to awaken ghosts from Tanner’s past and destroy his romance with Bethany. He longs for peace, but the book asks if their love is enough to overcome the obstacles that challenge them.
