Voted by Guardian readers as one of the UK’s Top 10 Camping Sites in 2020, Home Farm’s updated branding aims to commemorate this accomplishment while reflecting the evolution of the business and the development of the site.
In the last decade, camping and glamping have risen in popularity. 2021 saw £2.7 billion spent on camping and glamping in the UK, nearly an 80% increase from 2020. With the rising cost of living and lockdown restrictions now eased, this number is expected to increase even more in 2023. Home Farm seeks to capitalise on this trend, offering affordable campsite pitches and glamping facilities near Oxford, Marlow, and Henley-on-Thames.
Home Farm’s updated branding showcases over 35 years in the camping and touring business. In this time, the site has grown to include a variety of accommodations ranging from grass and hardstanding pitches to fully furnished bell tents and a shepherd’s hut, as well as a range of amenities.
As a longstanding member of the community, Home Farm is committed to creating family-friendly experiences at affordable prices. Serving as a base from which campers can venture out and explore West Wycombe Village, High Wycombe, Marlow, Henley on Thames and several hiking routes across the beautiful Chilterns for those who prefer traveling on foot or mountain biking.
The updated branding brings with it a new logo intended to better represent the products and services that Home Farm provides. The logo features a modern caravan over a green circle with a smaller, yellow circle off to the side. The logo has evolved from the previous design and symbolises the range of accommodations that Home Farm offers and the natural, rural beauty of the surrounding country.
Home Farm features Bell Tents and a Shepherd’s Hut with premium amenities including a wood-burning stove, candle chandeliers, a Kadai firepit, deck chairs, picnic benches, rugs, and optional access to electric hook-ups. As a satisfied customer put it “Myself and 3 friends stayed here a few weeks ago and it was idyllic! Andy was extremely helpful and professional. The site is large with gorgeous views. You can rent a firepit and logs of wood very easily and the showers and toilets are great too. Nice pubs nearby as well as some lovely walks to be had. Highly recommend!.”
“Being voted one of the UK’s Top 10 Camping Sites was a fantastic achievement, and we needed branding that not only communicated our pride but honoured all the hard work it took to get there,” Andrew J Radford, owner of Home Farm Camping, Glamping and Caravan recently said. “The update shows how much we’ve evolved over 35 years, and where we’re headed in the next 35.”
