“Just take the Idaho Springs exit with the McDonalds sign when you are going west on highway 70,” Doug Otten explains, and continues with the directions to their new thrift store, “after you take the exit go down a few blocks and “South by Southwest Gently Used Decor” is on the right in an old log cabin building, between the BBQ restaurant and the Chinese food restaurant.  The address is 2712 Colorado Blvd. Idaho, Springs. CO. 80452, and we can be reached at 303-567-2428.”

The family owned thrift store will be open 9am daily, and closed on Tuesday and Thursday.  The new Idaho Springs, Colorado Thrift Store will offer gently used decor that is very unique, because they buy, sell, and trade, so you never know what you will find stashed away in the corner.

”We offer a little bit of everything for home decor needs, and we also offer a little bit of nostalgia too,” Shannon McGuire says.  She continues explaining that the, “Local residents, people from surrounding towns, clients from Denver, and visiting tourists are all among our clients, so we try to keep a very diversified stock that is ever changing.”
