It's God and Guns… or Nothing says Duck Dynasty!

(Newswire.net — May 9, 2013) Greensboro, NC — The Country Music station 93.1 The Wolf reported yesterday on its Facebook page that A&E TV has received complaints over the cast of Duck Dynasty using guns and praying to God on its show

The radio station went on to say in their Facebook post “details regarding the source of the complaints have not been released. Nor has anyone clarified whether they originated within or without of A&E. Breitbart News has reached out to the network for comment”

The rumor that A&E told the Robertsons to tone down guns and prayer is not true,” said Alan Roberson, the family’s eldest son in an email to TheBlaze.com, adding the description of “false” to the chatter. “We continue to partner with A&E to make a great tv show that reflects our family’s values.”

 Duck Dynasty is a popular reality tv show on A&E cable channel that follows the antics of the wealthy camo wearing Robertson clan from West Monroe, Louisiana. The show highlights the Robertson’s family values and love for hunting and fishing.

Phil Roberston, the family patriarch, once played college football alongside famed NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw.

Robertson forgone a professional football career for duck hunting. Phil was determined to turn his hand made duck calls into a business.

Today the Duck Commander business of building and selling duck calls is a multimillion dollar family operated enterprise ran by Phil’s son Willie.

Duck Dyynasty shattered A&E viewing records when it attracted 8.6 million viewers to its Season 3 opener and had 9.6 views for the season finale. The show’s Facebook page has more than 4.2 million fans.

Willie Robertson and A&E confirmed that Duck Dynasty will return for Season 4.
