Belton, MO, NOV 27, 2013 – Thanksgiving.  Some are left to celebrate alone while still others find they just don’t want the hassle of making such a big dinner at home.  More and more restaurants and hotels are offering a sit down Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the trimmings and the Tearoom by Country Keepsakes in Belton, MO. is no exception.

The Tearoom, conveniently located just off 71 Highway in historic downtown Belton, approximately 20 minutes south of Downtown Kansas City, the Country Club Plaza, and the bustling Overland Park area, is offering a sumptuous Thanksgiving Buffet for those having to celebrate alone or just wanting dinner without dishes that will be nothing short of what owner Beverly Bruce describes as a ‘taste of homemade happiness’.

Family-owned and operated for over 25 years, the Tearoom has been dishing up their very own brand of down-home upscale fare  served with a smile by the mother/daughter duo of owners Bev Bruce and Molly Fries.  It is easy to make a wonderful day of it by taking a stroll through the historic downtown area, or even take a ride on the Belton Grandview & Kansas City Railroad, then have dinner at the Tearoom.  They serve lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a Seasonal Dinner Buffet Served the 4th Saturday of the Month (from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the months of May through October), a Sunday Brunch Buffet Served the 2nd Sunday of the Month (from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and are open on Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day & Easter for their well-known classic Tearoom Buffet by reservation only.

Using fresh ingredients combined with family tradition, this family business knows how to put on a spread.  Businesses and brides may be interested in checking out their catering menu for private parties and of course, they are a TEA ROOM.  They hold Tea Tasting events and tea classes.  Watch the website for more information regarding their upcoming Tea Tasting held with The Republic of Tea.
