(Newswire.net — May 16, 2018) Harvard, Massachusetts — Known for its commitment to athletic development, sports hydration manufacturer Vitamin 1 was recently named as an official drink sponsor for the Rob Gronkowski Football Clinic. Michael Taylor, CEO and founder of the drink company, knows that supporting athletes is critical in developing strong foundations for health and success later in life. His company has forged partnerships with sports programs at all levels, including collegiate and professional teams as well as with sports clinics like the popular annual youth football clinic hosted by NFL standout Rob Gronkowski. This year’s clinic will be held June 9 and 10, 2018 at the Woburn Memorial High School in Woburn, Massachusetts. “We are thrilled by the prospect of supporting young athletes at the clinic,” says Mr. Taylor, who developed his company’s products based on his own personal experiences. “The Gronkowski Football Clinic provides instruction and guidance to tomorrow’s athletes, many of whom go on to play at the collegiate or professional levels.” To learn more about the clinic, visit https://www.citiprivatepass.com/landing/rob_gronkowski_football_clinic_nov.html.
Open to boys and girls in grades 1-8, the Football Clinic offers young players a chance to develop their skills under the guidance of professional athletes and coaches. The two-day clinic includes lectures, football skills drills, non-contact games, and contests, all in a positive environment. The clinics are well-attended; in 2016, over 700 young athletes took part in the clinic. Rob Gronkowski is a tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). His first year as a pro came in 2011. In his first year, he set two single-season records – the first for touchdowns by a tight end with 17 receiving touchdowns and the second for receiving yards by a tight end with 1327 yards. He stands out as the first tight end in the history of the NFL to lead the entire league in receiving touchdowns. Since that first year, “Gronk” has been selected for five Pro Bowls and five All-Pro selections. He is a former collegiate football player for the University of Arizona Wildcats, participating from 2007 to 2009 and setting several school records.
Vitamin 1 was founded by Michael Taylor, a decorated U.S. military veteran and international security expert. Mike’s experiences throughout the Middle East demonstrated to him that hydration was the weak point in strategic operations. Products available on the market were filled with sugar and with artificial ingredients, hindering maximum performance. He set out to create a product that balances energy enhancing vitamins, electrolytes, and smart nutrition without unnecessary calories. The result is Vitamin 1, a revolution in healthy hydration.
