(Newswire.net — March 21, 2017) Vancouver, BC — The world’s best in espresso, technology, and design has landed at Espressotec Sales & Service in the form of six sparkling new espresso machine models from ECM Manufacture. The ECM Technika, Mechanika, Synchronika and Electronika, now proudly displayed in the Espressotec showroom on Clark Drive in Vancouver, are all widely recognized as leading models within the home barista / prosumer market. These are the fruits of state-of-the-art German design and development, inspired by authentic Italian espresso culture.

Foremost among the covetable features of ECM’s home espresso machines is the chrome-plated E61 brew head. The company redeveloped this monumental invention, which was first released by Faema in 1961, and patented the design in 2010. Thanks to years of reengineering, the cumbersome cooling flush and temperature surfing once requisite with the E61 brew head are no longer necessary. The result is much-improved temperature stability and a subsequent leap in quality of home espresso for consumers. Other prominent assets include a more ergonomic configuration of components, immaculate high-quality stainless steel body, dual pressure gauges, copper tubing with brass fittings and tubing, and economical footprint. Most of these models also contain a commercial-grade rotary pump and can switch from water tank to direct water connection for even quieter and further enhanced performance.

The quartet of ECM home machines effectively caters to the preferences, skill level, and coffee habits of all home espresso enthusiasts. The Mechanika and Technika models feature dual pressure gauges for monitoring group head and boiler pressure, commercial-grade steam wands for fast and consistent steaming, and ergonomic chrome-plated portafilter handles. The basic version of these machines come with a vibration pump, while the switchable version contains a commercial rotary pump that can draw water from either the water tank or a plumbed-in direct-water connection. The Electronika is much like the rotary pump version of the Mechanika and Technika, but it also has a keypad for programming different-sized espresso shots and dosing manually. This makes it ideal for the home barista who likes the aesthetics and function of the E61 brew head, but prefers the consistency and convenience of automatically timed shots. Finally, the Synchronika takes things up a notch with a dual boiler – one for water and one for steam – which enables simultaneous brewing and steaming without compromising power, temperature, or consistency of either. All models are German-engineered and manufactured in Italy from high-quality stainless steel, brass, and copper.

To further enhance customer experience with these robust prosumer espresso machines, Espressotec has released an unboxing video on YouTube for each of the four models, with more in-depth how-to guides and demonstrations to come.

Founded in 1996, ECM Manufacture continues to impress the home and commercial coffee industry with what has often been called the “Rolls-Royce of espresso machines”. Its founder, Wolfgang Hauck, was highly influential in establishing the Italian espresso culture in Germany almost 50 years ago. To this day, the company eschews the use of cheaper plastics in favour of top-caliber steel, brass, and chrome. ECM’s devotion to precision and quality shine through every one of its machines, which is why Espressotec is so proud to be Vancouver’s leading authorized ECM dealer.
