(Newswire.net — November 18, 2020) Orlando, FL — The World Health Organization warns that around 46 percent of global diseases and 59 percent of mortality rates are due to chronic diseases. These include liver disease, of which rates continue to soar.

Further, statistics reveal that nearly 35 million individuals even die due to chronic ailments.

The National statistics in the United Kingdom reveals that liver diseases have been ranked as the fifth most common cause of death.

In the United States, they are the second leading cause of mortality amongst all digestive diseases. A variety of liver diseases can result in a potentially fatal condition called cirrhosis.

The increasing prevalence and mortality of liver disease urge many researchers to carry out studies to look into the ways to reduce the impacts of this condition.

In a study, it has been shown that physical activity was linked with a significant decrease in cirrhosis-related death. Physical activity includes muscle-strengthening activities and walking.

This research was presented at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2019.

According to lead researcher, Tracey Simon, the benefit of exercise is not a new concept, but the impact of exercise on mortality from cirrhosis and from liver cancer has not yet been explored on this scale.

Simon is instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

“Our findings show that both walking and strength training contribute to substantial reductions in risk of cirrhosis-related death, which is significant because we know very little about modifiable risk factors,” he adds.

Aside from exercise, it is worth noting that there are other remedies found to be helpful for liver health. These are all-natural remedies like curcumin, which has demonstrated its ability to exert varying mechanisms to benefit the liver.

According to some experts, this natural remedy aids in reducing liver enzymes, which are considered to be markers used to measure liver function. Some studies even show it may cause a delay in liver damage as well as cirrhosis.

Some of the major reasons behind the therapeutic powers of curcumin for the liver are its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It has been found able to delay damage produced by progressive inflammatory conditions of the liver.

These include primary sclerosing cholangitis and primary biliary cirrhosis. It is important to realize that both of these condition cause inflammation, scarring, and blockage in the liver‘s plumbing system of bile ducts.

Experts have long been stressing the relevance of curcumin for various aspects of liver health. It is also important to realize that its use is also associated with many other disease-fighting benefits.

To experience its healing effects, it is wise to consider the use of formulas like VitaBreeze Curcumin (www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Complex-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00JA4TLTI/).
