(Newswire.net — April 7, 2014) Franklin, Tennessee — Representatives from Murfreesboro City Schools met with designers and sales representatives from OI Furniture to furnish Overall Creek Elementary School Friday, March 14, 2014.
Making design decisions on the school’s behalf were Becky Sally: Federal Projects/Purchasing for Murfreesboro City Schools, Don Bartch: Principal of Overall Creek Elementary, and Mandy Williams: Bookkeeper of Overall Creek Elementary.
Becky Sally had previously worked with OI on the successful Hobgood Elementary School project in 2013. Don Bartch had experience opening several schools “the old fashioned way,” but this project was his first experience with new technology and OI’S design software tools. Conversely, the Overall Creek Elementary project was Mandy Williams’ first foray into opening a school.
Prior to their guests’ arrival from Murfreesboro, Adam Cohen: Vice President of OI Sales and Mark DeMaio: Direct of OI Design filled the conference room with swatches and catalogs from over 40 different manufacturers and accessed on-line catalogs and OI Software tools: Draw2Sell and Quote2Order so that they could be viewed on the mounted flat-screen.
Sally, Bartch and Williams were quite impressed with their experience at OI. With access to numerous designers and with the expert advice from Cohen and DeMaio, the Murfreesboro representatives were able to complete the entire order for this Murfreesboro elementary school in only a few hours.
