Premium Comedy Returns to The Symposium Wilmslow

3 of the UK’s funniest comedians will be bringing hilarity to The Symposium in Wilmslow this Sunday at their Premium Comedy evening. Every act is a headline act. The Premium Comedy night was a huge success until COVID forced all live events to shut down. 

Posh-nosh bites are included in the ticket price and you’ll be seated and able to laugh out loud in safe bubbles of two, four, or six people. The bill is a stellar one and includes compere Cokey Falkow, recently returned from shooting a Hollywood blockbuster in London.

 

The headliner is Eddy Brimson. Brimson is what’s known as a ‘geezer’ and a damn funny one at that, but he is also a great deal more. Since turning to comedy in 1999, he has well and truly established himself on the live comedy circuit and is regarded by some as one of the leading headline comics in British comedy and the world. “Quite simply brilliant” Sky. “Eddy Brimson doesn’t muck about” Three Weeks.  “The crowd loved him”  The Guardian.

Support is provided by the inimitable Steve Harris, as well as Phil Chapman, a wonderfully gifted performer. Harris started comedy in 1998 and within three months had won the coveted North-West Comedian of the Year award after just five gigs. He also became a finalist of the BBC New Comedy Awards and Channel 4’s “So you think you’re funny” in the same year. Steve went on to headline all of the top comedy clubs in the UK including venues as far-flung as Hong Kong and Australia.
