New courses in Saskatchewan launched by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (+1-888-300-6079) allow students to complete their certification as a medical aesthetician, while taking classes after work, or in their spare time.
The Dermysk Academy, a certified training school for dermatology and medical aesthetics with locations across Canada, has launched new hybrid online courses that allow students to pursue their certification on their own time, for Basic, Advanced, or Master level programs.
More information about Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, the new online courses, and the full list of available programs can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
While the new courses are not fully online, they allow students to complete the knowledge portion of their training at home, or anywhere with an internet connection, before attending in-person training for the practical portion. These practical training sessions will take place at Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, where students will get experience working with medical aesthetic tools and clients.
Anyone may enroll in the new training programs, as long as they have the prerequisites for each course, such as a high school diploma or relevant job experience for the Basic program. Courses from the Dermysk Academy provide full certification for procedures such as radiofrequency rejuvenation, body sculpting, laser hair removal, and microblading.
Graduates of the Basic course will be certified and experienced in up to a dozen popular procedures, which include dermaplaning, laser tattoo removal, and acne treatments. A certificate from the Basic course will also act as the prerequisite for the Advanced course, for students who wish to get their certification in body sculpting, stem cell treatments, and pigmentation.
Alternatively, students may choose to enroll in the Master’s level course, which includes all the training covered in both the Basic and Advanced class. Graduates will receive a Master’s of Medical Aesthetics certification and will be both trained and experienced with all the standard procedures, as well as several which are only available through this Master’s level training.
All students of the Dermysk Academy will be able to access the school’s after-graduate support, including career advice and assistance with the development of their medical aesthetician skills. Students may also return at any time to upgrade their certification, though courses beyond the Master’s level are restricted to licensed nurses and physicians.
One recent graduate said, “I absolutely enjoyed every bit of the course. The practicum was amazing and I’m excited I’m leaving here with a myriad of knowledge from the school. Our practicum instructor, Sorena, was an excellent instructor. Glad we could practice on ourselves and on clients as well. My classmates were awesome too. I would recommend this course.”
