(Newswire.net — July 31, 2014) Franklinville, NJ — Amanda Dean, an integral part of the Ross Environmental Solutions, Inc. pest management team, has just taken her career one step further and completed an 80 hour training course through Purdue. For current and future Ross customers, that can only mean one thing – better pest management through Ross with every call.
The Course
Titled Introduction to Urban and Industrial IPM, this distance learning course can take between 80 and a hundred hours to complete. It covers topics like the safe use of pesticides, insect identification, and how to manage all sorts of infestations including wood-destroying organisms, mosquitoes, and even urban wildlife. Topics like handling pest management in food processing environments are also covered. The rigorous course is designed for service technicians like Amanda as well as food service workers who need to be intimately familiar with how to prevent and deal with pest problems.
The Benefits
