(Newswire.net — February 19, 2021) Orlando, FL — As the rates of cardiovascular diseases continue to soar, experts continue to carry out studies to look into the best ways to protect the heart better.

A study was published in the International Journal of Cardiology.

This research was carried out by the scientists from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).

In this study, the investigators looked into the effects of three healthy diets that emphasize intake of different macronutrients, namely proteins, carbohydrates, or unsaturated fats. These effects were investigated on a biomarker that directly reflects heart injury.

The researchers used highly specific tests and found that all three diets successfully decreased heart cell damage and inflammation, consistent with improved heart health.

According to Stephen Juraschek, MD, PhD, it’s possible that macronutrients matter less than simply eating healthy foods.

Juraschek is corresponding author and Assistant Professor of Medicine at BIDMC and Harvard Medical School.

The study findings offer support to flexibility in food selection for individuals attempting to have a healthier diet. Experts stress that the average American consume fewer than two servings of vegetables and fruit a day.

This makes the typical American diet quite different from any of these diets, all of which included a minimum of four to six servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

In increasing heart health protection, experts have been strongly recommending to resort to some dietary and lifestyle improvements proven to produce cardiovascular health protection.

Phytochemicals like curcumin have been found to aid in reversing the many steps involved in the heart disease process. Curcumin is a phytochemical that can be found in turmeric, and it has been found to work wonders in protecting and enhancing heart health.

According to researchers, curcumin can work in enhancing endothelial function. The endothelium pertains to the lining of the blood vessels. Experts warn that endothelial dysfunction is considered to be a major driver of heart disease.

A study has shown that curcumin was as effective as exercise in benefiting the heart. It is similarly worth mentioning that curcumin is a strong anti-inflammatory. This is beneficial considering that inflammation is closely linked with heart disease.

There have also been studies revealing that the use of curcumin was as effective as the use of certain heart medications.

Interestingly, the use of curcumin is actually associated with a myriad of health benefits. This therapeutic ingredient can be obtained through the use of formulas like VitaBreeze Curcumin.

There are many consumers who turn to the use of this formula. Aside from being highly potent, it also contains black pepper which increases the absorption of curcumin inside the body (www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Complex-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00JA4TLTI/).
