(Newswire.net — September 5, 2014) San Carlos, California — The Social Network Art Competition (SNAC–expo) fine art competition and tour provides artists an opportunity to have their work expertly curated, displayed in select venues throughout the world and promoted internationally. Now, due to overwhelming response from the recent art competition focusing on Israeli artists, SNAC will continue to take submissions through Monday, September 15. All art must be uploaded by 11:59 p.m. on that date in order to be eligible for the competition. Voting will begin promptly at midnight on September 16 and continue through October 10. Winners will be announced on October 13, and all winning art work must be at the shipping location, which will be announced later, by October 15 in order to be shipped to arrive in San Francisco by November 6.
This means that all artists must submit their creations quickly at www.snac.expo.com/registration in order to be considered. Artists may upload up to three images of drawings or paintings and are encouraged to share their biographies as they do so. SNAC is particularly interested in sharing the artists’ stories of their media, their countries and their work. An expert panel will curate the semifinalists in each category, and an international voting board will select 30 finalists to exhibit at selected venues worldwide. All artwork will be available for purchase after the exhibitions are completed and will be promoted through SNAC-expo’s extensive network. Proceeds will go directly to the artists and their communities.
This tour focuses on the artists themselves as well as the implications of their work for their communities and the world. Whether artists are natives of a country or part of the diaspora, all Israeli citizens are eligible to take part in this event. The online voting, expertly curated exhibition and promotion of the artists, their communities and their work transcend language and geographical barriers.
It is free to register and submit artwork. For more information, or to purchase artwork, visit http://www.snac-expo.com or email info@snac-expo.com.
