With the newest announcement, Sunshine City Counseling can continue to provide its therapy services to men and women who are struggling with issues relating to anxiety, depression, spirituality, and major life changes.
Zac Giparas is both a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. His scientifically-based counseling approach draws influence from cognitive-behavioral (CBT), emotionally-focused (EFT), and humanistic therapies.
Through individual mental health counseling sessions, Giparas can help clients learn to express their feelings in a constructive manner, maintain healthy relationships, gain a better understanding of themselves, and reach their fullest potential.
In addition, Giparas can provide therapy for teenagers who are experiencing outbursts of anger, low self-esteem, trouble in school, isolation, trauma, or confusion about their sexuality. During these counseling sessions, teens will learn how to navigate the complexities of life, understand their current situation, and effectively communicate with others.
Giparas also offers couples therapy services in which he will work directly with clients to improve the connection and stability within their relationship or marriage.
Sunshine City Counseling is currently accepting new clients for both face-to-face and online counseling sessions. All of the company’s online sessions will take place on a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
The center’s typical counseling sessions last from 45 minutes to an hour. As an “out of network” company, SCC lets clients decide whether or not they’d like to involve their insurance company in the payment process.
