Staffordshire’s Only Dedicated Comedy Club is Back

On Friday 28th & Saturday 29th August, live comedy is back at Staffordshire’s only dedicated comedy club. Roger Monkhouse headlines a brilliant lineup, which also includes Dave Twentyman and Simon Lomas as well as resident compere Cokey Falkow. 

Social Distancing is in effect and the venue has capped the seating to accommodate Covid-19 guidelines. ROFL is accepting socially distanced bookings for 2, 4 or 6 guests, there’s table service for food and drinks, plus an awesome live comedy event! Not on the telly, or streamed to your phone.

Roger Monkhouse is a consummate stand-up who exerts a masterful control over any audience and is one of the regular writers on Channel 4’s hugely popular comedy panel show ‘8 Out of 10 Cats.’ A highly original and quirky performer, his trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit.

Support is provided by award-winning comedian Simon Lomas. Having started comedy in 2015, by 2018 he won the £10,001 Petfringe Comedian of the Year and was a finalist in both Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2018 and English Comedian of the Year 2017.

Dave Twentyman is also on the bill and is a startlingly hilarious comic. He is upbeat, cheery, down-to-earth, friendly, warm, quick on his feet…just some words that have been used to describe one of the most naturally funny comics on the UK comedy circuit today.
