The Center Expands Team with Fellowship-Trained Doctors

(Newswire.net — September 19, 2018) Bend, Oregon — The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research is pleased to announce the following additions to our diverse team of highly-trained doctors. Each brings valuable skills and specific expertise to the team that will help keep pace with Central Oregon’s continued growth.  

Fellowship trained in pain medicine at the University of California, Davis, Anthony DiGirolamo, DO brings extensive knowledge of advanced interventional procedures for chronic pain with a multi-disciplinary approach. He joins our physical medicine and rehabilitation team with a background that includes sports medicine management of musculoskeletal injuries, electrodiagnostic training, pediatric rehabilitation, trauma rehabilitation, stroke, and neuromuscular diseases.

He completed his medical education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. He says, “I enjoy working closely with my patients to help them achieve their goals by reducing pain and restoring function.” Drawn to Central Oregon because of the breathtaking scenery, recreational opportunities, and a strong sense of community, Dr. DiGirolamo looks forward to exploring the beautiful outdoors with his wife and two children in his spare time.

David Holt, MD is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions. After practicing in Knoxville, Tennessee, for three years, he decided to move with his family to the Northwest to join the multidisciplinary team of physicians at The Center. Dr. Holt completed his hand and upper extremity fellowship with Dr. Paul Dell at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He earned his medical degree at University of Tennessee Health Science Center and did his residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. “I enjoy developing relationships with patients and working together to develop treatment plans tailored to their needs so they can get back to what they love,” said Dr. Holt.
