The Full Weight of Metabolism

(Newswire.net — January 26, 2018) Cheyenne, Wyoming — Often times when people speak about weight loss the term “metabolism” is mentioned but what exactly is it and how does it really affect one’s weight? Well, for starters, the body works more or less like any machine, it’s all about input, output and the amount of work needed to execute everything.

“Metabolism is the process by which your body converts what you eat and drink into energy. During this complex biochemical process, calories in food and beverages are combined with oxygen to release the energy your body needs to function,” explains Mayo Clinic. “Even when you’re at rest, your body needs energy for all its “hidden” functions, such as breathing, circulating blood, adjusting hormone levels, and growing and repairing cells.”

So if all these functions are common amongst all humans, then the secret behind weight loss is the amount of energy each person requires to get the same job done. Food is the universal fuel used but the types of food and the quality of food is something to consider. The variables at play affect how smoothly a body performs and ultimately how it handles the resources it acquires, meaning how much is used versus how much is stored with the intent for later use.

“The amount of energy needed to perform the basic body functions at rest is known as Basal Metabolic Rate,” explains New England Fat Loss Centre. “The other physical activities that we do like walking on the road or in the park, climbing office stairs, moving boxes from one place to another, and running or jogging requires additional energy. About 70% of the energy is expended in a day to perform basic body functions and the rest of the energy is used up for other physical activities.”

Now that the chemistry of metabolism is understood, one should consider what happens when energy is stored but not actually used later on as intended. Well, one would imagine it’s much like resting a piece of fruit in the fridge with the intention of eating it later but instead it ends up being ignored for weeks. Surely, that poor bit of fruit is rotten at that point and has to be discarded since its purpose has not been fulfilled. It has become “dead weight” to have around much like excess fat about the arms or mid-section.

Fat is a consequence of such misuse of resources and while there are a number of surgeries that could easily cut it away as simply as throwing out bad fruit, however,  there are healthier, less invasive options available. Altering one’s metabolic rate with thermogenics is the quickest way to support weight loss with minimal effort. Clearly, “burn baby, burn!” ought to be the official anthem to this method as it literally burns fat away. Heating the body’s core temperature issues instructions for fat to be broken down for use as fuel throughout the system so dietary supplements like FitPal™ by HealthyWiser™ are formulated to stimulate natural fat burning functions and curb appetite all the while improving nutrient absorption.
