High in the Great Smoky Mountains in beautiful Maggie Valley, North Carolina spring travelers will find have some very entertaining options as Pride RV Resort as the full park opens for the spring season May 1st.
Now in it’s third season, Maggie Valley Square Dance Vacations boasts a tremendous calendar of square dance events, presenting many of the world’s top square dance callers.
The 2013 Maggie Valley Square Dance Vacations talent line-up: Tony Oxendine, Jerry Story, Jack Pladdys, Darryl Lipscomb, Bob Asp, Marshall Flippo, Ken Ritucci, Jimmy Roberson, Jim & Pris Adcock, Tom Miller, John Preston, Chris Burchfield, Walt Bull, Hal Barnes, Bill Harrison, The Blackfords, Ted Kennedy, Stan Russell, Gary Shoemake, Ken Bower and Darryl McMillan.
Pride Resort offers several ways to square dance, with Square Dance Week Stay and Dance packages, dance-only tickets, and Terrific Tuesdays where your ticket to dance is only $7 per person with one caller calling and $8 per person with two callers calling. Dances run from April through October and offer something for square dancers of all levels.

June 2nd-6th Tony Oxendine, Jimmy Roberson and The Adcocks calling Plus Dancing.
June 9th-13th Tony Oxendine, Jack Pladdys calling Intro to Plus DBD.
All dances are held at the new event facility onsite, The Pride Center, which frequently hosts Smoky Mountain weddings, events, and business conferences. The Pride Center has hardwood floors and a great view of the smoky mountains.

Pride Ministries announces Sunday service at 10am at the Pride Center:
Pastor Charles Shaver will be hosting guests of Pride and the Maggie Valley community for non-denominational worship each Sunday morning at 10am, beginning May 5th. Service is held in The Pride Center onsite at Pride RV Resort.
